<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Lakerland:</div><div class="quote_post">I love Kobe's game and I'm glad he's a Laker but...cmon. If Ray Allen, Shaquille O'Neal, and Phil Jackson all say similar things about your selfishness...it's probably true. I don't know Kobe so I dont know for sure, but he does seem pretty childish sometimes.

What if Kobe DID start it all? There's a lot of things that we can't hear during the game, you know... And I don't expect Ray Allen, Mr. Professional Business Suit-Type Guy, to really take shots at Kobe for no reason.</div>
If someone tried to judge my playing ability and my team's success by putting it all on my shoulders and calling me selfish, I'd have his a**, and I can assure you that Kobe feels the same way. Ray commented after the game first, when all he had to do was speak his mind about where the Lakers will end up and that's about it. Saying that he took too many shots and/or is selfish is uncalled for.

And so was sitting the bench with a "hurt" back, and then coming out last night to score 32 points (by the way, from his standards, 32 points is WAY too selfish, and the Sonics will surely fail).

People (on here) take shots at Kobe fans because some of the fans really support him to the fullest and sometimes make outrageous comments. The Kobe "haters", so to speak, pick up on this this and generalize it and believe that just because one fan says that, ALL Kobe fans are that extreme and biased which I really think is ignorant on thier part.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting realdealbneal:</div><div class="quote_post">I'm not paying attention to any other posts. All I'm saying is that I really dislike it when people try and make it out to be a bad thing to be a Kobe fan. We are biased, we are hilarious, we are ignorant...it's getting old, really. Should I go criticize Hawks fans for believing that they'll make the playoffs this year, or Grizzlies fans because they think that this is their year to make it to the Finals?

A true fan stands by his team no matter what. A true fan believes what others believe to be the impossible. I see absolutely no reason to call us biased or anything else, because we are FANS, just like every single member on this website.

If Ray Allen took shots at your favorite player, I'd expect you to be angry. Ray Allen is NOT on Kobe's level, and almost every fan can admit that (Laker fan or not). Maybe kobe-360 is saying that he doesn't care much for Ray...in other words, in his opinion, he's no good.

I don't see any reason to come in here and bash Kobe Bryant fans. We really don't care what Ray does, because he's worthless to our success. If he wants to run his mouth, that's fine...but we'll be expecting nothing more after Kobe shuts him up. Simple as that.</div>

I agree, fans want to defend their favourite players/teams when they are taking shots. However, you just can't go out and say a player like Ray Allen is bad or 'sux', because that's totally false. Same thing with the Shaq-Kobe drama. Shaq is a loser, Shaq is a fatass, Shaq sucks, etc. Then all of a sudden we got Laker and Heat fans going into each others forums going completely off-topic bringing up Kobe and Shaq. There's a difference between thinking with your head, and thinking with your heart.

That's true and all, but why is it that when one Kobe fan says something outrageous about him, all of the sudden it's 'Kobe fans are biased. Kobe fans are hilarious. Kobe fans are ignorant.'

I'm just gonna quote real on this one.

Really, if anyone doubts Kobe's ability to lead his team, then they're the ones being ignorant and not thinking with their heads. And now I'm just gonna get the same 'biased Kobe fan' treatment. It's getting old.

You have to think with both and pull out the best explanation or answer.

Seriously, this statement of yours started it all. You said it plain and simple "Kobe fans are hilarious" without elaborating why we are. It's pretty much a slap in the face when ignorants like you, who are so negatively biased about Kobe, say that we are biased fans.

What did I start? BTW, I put in bold why I said Kobe fans are hilarious. Try reading next time.

Yeah you put in bold <u>our words</u>... is it called "explaining"? Where is your own explanation?

What's there to explain? The comment was idiotic.

Well, at least you could have added that "the comment was idiotic". It would have been the explanation, man. Simple right? Now it would justify why you said "Kobe fans are hilarious" and us other Laker fans would let you square off with Kobe_360.

Did I have to make my point more clear? Everyone could see my point, and knew (even Laker fans) kobe-360's statement was false.
