You know I see a lot of you talking about where to go for Chinese food. This thread has nothing to do with that, although it is intersting because good chinese food is hard to find in Portland. This thread is about dark drinking establishments. I can tell you if you went to Hung Far Lo for the food, you would regret it.
Nope. Thien Hong is 1000 times better than the brother's. Thien Hong's food is like crack. The pepper salted squid is to kill for.
had some pepper salted fish and general tso's last night. Very good. I'll have to try that place out.
Their food is amazing. The creamy white sauce with almonds is the bomb (insert perverted joke here). I usually get it with chicken even though they have it with shrimp on the menu.
Try Chinese Village on 82nd. Food is pretty good. Really great bar....if you want cheap stiff drinks and a sleazy asian atmosphere. Its the eastside version of the old Hung Far Low.
What is the name of the Chinese restaurant across from the Nike campus? It is pretty much my favorite.
Oh noes...Someone destroyed the front of Hung Far Lo http://www.kgw.com/news/Car-crashes-into-Portland-restaurant-80269062.html
