    I don't think that's true....

15.5 pts on 53% shooting in 24 minutes per game (before he went down with an injury.)

To give some perspective, the top two scorers from Vegas that year (2015) were Seth Curry and Zach LaVine. They averaged 24 and 22 points respectively. They played 33 minutes per game and shot 46% and 32.4% from the field.

So if Crabbe HAD played 33 minutes per game instead of only 24, and at the rate he was shooting, he probably would have been right up there with them in terms of scoring. He did fine.

Are we really using his third summer league performance as a justification for paying him 19m this season? I think everyone here would trade Allan Crabbe for either one of those two players because they are better basketball players in almost every conceivable metric. Allan Crabbe is trash. Get your head around this folks, Kyle Corver at 36 or however old he is has more value than Crabbe, and for good reason. The list of all the things Crabbe is poor at is everything involved in playing basketball minus shoot open threes. But remember that one time, he was kinda good in summer league? right guys? ...right?

I forgot my own post somewhere that reminds that Houston would be trying to clear cap space for this summer by trading Beverly so I guess we would have to find a third team. OK, then, Beverly to Portland, Mozgov to Portland and Crabbe to NJ. However, in return for taking on almost as bad a contract as Crabbe's for a player worth nothing, Brooklyn also has to take Leonard!

No, what we're doing is not accepting disingenuous arguments in opposition to paying him. Most agree that he's over paid, precisely for the reasons you posted. We don't need to invent false narratives like, "He didn't even look good in summer league as a starter," when the truth about his limitations is already so damning.

His per 100 possession defense seems really good.

MCW is like a worse version of ET without the defense.

Without the defense? His defense looks quite good.

EDIT: Only Nurk (on the Blazers) had a better DRtg last season.

I didn't say anything about his contract. Dviss said he looked bad even as a starter in SL and I'm just showing that his statement was false. That's all, no more, no less.

MCW is surrounded by great defenders while Nurkic is surrounded by bad ones. He's a decent defender, but isnt better than Turner and he's awful offensively.

Maybe you should follow the words of your post and remember I can say whatever I want too. That was a conversation that took place well into the morning hours on Saturday night. You have no context to make judgements. I bet you haven't even read the entire conversation between me, Boob and Bones have you?

I read it. It doesn't make your post defensible.

Boston needs to dump salary to be able to try to sign Hayward this summer.

I'm totally open to trades for any combination of: Meyers, ET, and Crabbe.

I'm getting tired of all this crabbiness concerning Crabbe, so here is my next idea to get this back on track.
More news out that Boston wants Hayward and George. Would they want to unload Avery Bradley to a team with cap space?
Why wouldn't a third team like Brooklyn just take Avery themselves? Well, we would have to encourage them. We give them Allen Crabbe and Ed Davis. What clinches it is we take back the terrible contract of Mozgov. Of course I guess someone has to give Boston a draft choice. I guess that will be us. I mean, trading Crabbe for Bradley is worth it, right? But then we are stuck with Mosgov for three more years and Bradley's contract is up in a year and we'd have to sign him to a contract like Crabbe's!
Anyone else with a better idea how to get Bradley?

I think Crowder is much more likely given that he plays basically the same position as George/Hayward/Brown/Tatum
