If we land the #3-5 pick I’m calling OKC to offer it
    for Jalen Williams.

He’s that good and OKC is always open for business when it comes to draft picks.

    6’6”
    7’2.25” wingspan
    8’9.5” reach

High IQ and is a legitimate 2-way player

I can see Draymond being a potential trade target this offseason. Ideal trade target? Probably not. But he has a player option, and could tell GS he wants a new home, either they trade him, or he walks. What a deal for Draymond looks like...I don't know. Likely has to be a 3 team deal.

So why would they move him?

I think Bam would be a perfect partner for Dame. The secondary playmaking would be great and they operate in different spots. Also, there's no better defensive big for the switching style that Chauncey wants to run. While he and Jimmy are a terror on D, they've never complemented each other well on offense because they both operate from the same spots. You would think the heat would pick Bam if they had to chooses, but Jimmy has bean on a heater for a while and if the offer was sweet enough, who knows.

Nurk/Ant/pick for Bam/Robinson works. I'm not sure if a #2 - 6 is too rich to add, maybe two future picks? This assumes the heat know they have to make a move and have a terrible playoffs. I actually think Ant would be perfect next to Jimmy as an amazing shooter and ideally a secondary playmaker rather than floor general. Also, Ant is from Orlando and Nurk lives in Miami, so those two would be eager to head that direction.

The other intriguing option would be to route Embiid (who loves Jimmy) or Brown (who I would think would love Miami) to Miami and bring back Bam. I just think he's better fit with Dame and Shaedon personally. Those deals would be premised on things blowing up, and I suppose the sixers would be starting over (and want Shaedon and/or Bam) but Boston would want someone to help now (Ant and picks?). Not sure either would want Nurk, so we might have to get creative with him in that situation.

My ideal offseason is Ant/Nurk/Nas/future firsts for Bam, and our 2023 pick and Duncan Robinson to Toronto (who also needs shooting), and getting back OG and Bam. It's a ludicrous fantasy, but I think that team (with a vet PG and a vet big) is a championship contender.

Lillard/Sharpe/OG/Grant/Bam (with Thybulle, Watford, and two vet signings in the rotation).

If you're rolling jackpots in the draft with the team currently in place... let it ride

Some of these ideas are good and fairly realistic. However, until the team,…(Dame) figures out ball movement, NOT assists, is the best way to advance deep into the season, it doesn’t fucking matter who’s on the team

Is it that ludicrous? I think we would need to move up in the lotto to get OG if Duncan Robinson is the guy Toronto is taking on with the pick. I think the Bam trade would likely take three or all four of the future firsts we can have available.

I don't think you need two vet signings if we still have that second round pick because I think guys like Tshiebwe and Sanogo will likely be available there or a PG like Beekman from Virginia. These are guys with a ton of college experience who all have the skills to immediately get minutes in the league. Then we can fill the hole that isn't filled with the TPMLE.

Jusuf Nurkic + 5 for Myles Turner + 26 or 28 (Indy owns both Cleveland and Boston's 1st this year). Not saying this is what I want to happen, just something I think both teams would think about. If we move up to 2, maybe Nurk + 2 for Turner + 7. Portland has coveted Turner for a long time, and he'd undoubtably be an upgrade to both Nurkic and Chauncey's preferred style of play.

We would never do that. You’re giving up a high potential player for someone who would actually make your team worse. Defensively, Turner is a lot like Whiteside, just chases block. Offensively, only thing he can do better is shooting. But his lack of rebounding and screens would make this team a thousand time worse.

Gobert sure as hell isn’t the popular choice but
I agree, he is the type of center the Blazers could really use.

We could really use a center that lacks ideal mobility for today's game, is getting paid like a superstar, has very one dimensional offense and has been a locker room cancer?

Say we got the #3, is that + Robinson a good return for Toronto? Too much to give up for us?

Is Ant, Nurk, Nas, and three firsts a good deal for Bam? I think if we made those trades then (hopefully) our future firsts wouldn't be that great. If things don't turn out well, you still have Shaedon and Bam that you can build around (even if Grant and Dame have huge deals).

This is really the crux of the problem. We live or die with the Dame.

He hasn't changed his game at all since LMA left. When he's on, great, but when he's off.... I don't think it's a coincidence that we were giving teams like LAC and Minnesota and Memphis trouble even with horrible players. Ball movement and high energy defense is what wins games.

Honestly, I don't even care who it is..... I really hate watching anyone walk the ball up and jack up a shot early in the shot clock. It drives me nuts.

If the Raptors have the guy's available at 2 and 3 as potential all nba players then yes that is a good return for them. It might be a slight overpay for us but if the starting lineup you are putting together is Dame, Shaedon, OG, Grant and Bam... you have a contending starting lineup. As far as Ant, Nurk and three firsts for Bam and taking Robinson off of the Heat's books... I think that deal is a good one for them if the current iteration of their team isn't working. I think getting Bam is definitely worth it for us just given the fact that Dame has been pining over an extremely athletic big since he played with Bam in the Olympics and the fact that Bam is what Chauncey's system needs at C.

My ideal off season is getting that first pick, drafting Wemby and then pulling off the kind of trade you're suggesting for Bam and eating Robinson's deal.

Dame, Shae, Grant, Wemby, Bam, Thybulle, Trendon, TPMLE and 43rd pick could be a contending rotation as soon as next season.

Because it has us jumping to the first pick it's a bit of a pipe dream but it's a little better than a 1 in 10 chance. I think the Heat will lose in the first round and I do think Bam will be available for the kind of haul we could potentially offer plus taking on Duncan Robinson's contract. May 16th can't come soon enough! Then we can start talking about what is realistic.

Ant/Nurk to Miami; Duncan/Nas/pick to ATL; Bam/Collins here. Basically becomes a redo of what the 2016 draft could've/should've been, and acquires players who could work on either Dame or Sharpe's timeline.

Probably not realistic enough to belong in this thread, but whatever...
