OK, today's the day. Biden went to offer support and rally the crowds... "Speaking to hundreds of cheering supporters during a twilight rally in the coastal city of Long Beach, south of Los Angeles..." Hundreds? Not thousands? Hmmm..... doesn't sound too good when a few hundred people come to cheer the President and his support for Newsome. With Forty-six candidates are on the ballot, I think he's safe.
Driving in LA isn't a big draw for people who live there...I'm sure they'd rather stay home and watch it on tv than spend 3 hours in a car to attend a rally or even be IN a crowd with covid....doesn't surprise me a bit
Imagine thinking you could win a recall election against a Democrat in a state that buses in illegal immigrants to vote. Honestly, though, Newsom should write a nice thank you letter to Larry Elder. The face of the recall imitating Trump really made it easy for Newsom--if the conservative standard bearer had been someone halfway sane, Newsom might have actually been in trouble. But do sane conservative politicians still exist?
The funny thing is that the majority of the Republican party does not seem to get it. Trump won because Hillary was such a let down after Obama that people were apathetic. Trump shone a bright light on why people should not be and the American people are engaged because values matter. Instead of looking within, they continue to askew values for bravado, and it will kick them worse. Newsome's no recall vote is currently higher than his election percentage.
What happened? I heard that Newsom won by 2.3 Million votes. It was 5.830 Million to 3.30 Million votes or a 52% shellacking. My condolences.
You didn't hear? He stole the election. There is election fraud all over the state. Many ballots were changed electronically to Democrat via a good times virus.
This proved to basically be true. Republicans wasted $300M of taxpayer money to essentially re-run the 2018 election. After five previous failed attempts to waste $300M of taxpayer money to re-run the 2018 election.
The attempted recall of Kate Brown in Oregon is similarly pointless windmill-tilting. If they actually succeeded, they'd be replacing Kate with Secretary of State Shemia Fagen, who is younger, arguably more liberal, and most importantly, not term-limited out in 2022 like Kate. barfo
Kate is as close to inept as we've had since Roberts, but I don't see any serious impeachable offenses.
