    V for Vendetta is nothing like the comic though. Apparently the original author didn't like the movie at all.

    L.A. Confidential's a pretty good movie.

    No, I enjoyed it too. In the original comic, V was an anarchist, instead of fighting for democracy. They're both good in their own way, although I prefer the comic.

    Click rocked, I'll throw that out there. One of the funniest movies I've seen this year. Also, shape, I didn't find The Break Up very funny. I went to it with my girlfriend when it was in theaters and I didn't laugh all that much. It was disappointing to me.

    As for a recommendation, check out Thank You For Smoking. It's not the stupid humor comedies that a lot of movies are today and it's easily one of the funniest movies of the year.

    All i can say is WOW. Alot of crap being recomended... I was just wondering what makes a good movie to you guys?

    For me it has to have
    1. Good story
    2. Good writing
    3. Good acting
    4. Good/original cinematograpy

    Watch American Beauty (acting, story, writing and cinematograpy)
    Snatch ( story, writing and camera work)
    Sin City (story and camera work)

    I'm sorry I don't analyse movies though every frame, I actually have a life.

    I watch movies for pure enjoyment and entertainment purposes.

    Coincidentally I just watched it for the first time last night and it was a great movie, I'll second this.
