They've been around forever and they're still JUST opening for other bands. it's kind of sad. They opened up for Tool back in 1993, but they've been making music since 1983. People need to recognize! Plus, they put on a mean live show as VC I think saw at Bonnaroo.

I actually rec'ed W.A.N.D. like a page or so back. Walrus, you need to recommend a new video.
<div class="quote_poster">Voodoo Child Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Walrus, you need to recommend a new video.</div> Oh my bad. Now I'm not to sure how popular Acrtic Monkeys are on this board. But I love em and have been follwing them for years since their "Who the **** are The Arcitc Monkeys" Album. But whether you like them or not, it's still a great video nonetheless. enjoy Invalid Video Link
C I hated the fact that I had to go to youtube to watch the video and I wasn't too fond of the lead singers voice. It wasn't terrible though, just not something I'd listen to. Red Hot Chili Peppers - This Velvet Glove Invalid Video Link
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Red Hot Chili Peppers - This Velvet Glove</div> C Nothing special. I like how it kicks in at around 2:30. My favorite part isn't even musical, it's the lyrics... John says to live above hell My will is well Very beautiful imagery. Anyhoo... Acid Mother's Temple - Improvisation Invalid Video Link
B At first, it was this great heavy psychedelic song, but as it got further and further into it, any melodies became indiscernable and jumbled. The end was really good though, especially the last few seconds. New Song: Jimi - Axis Bold As Love Invalid Video Link
<div class="quote_poster">Voodoo Child Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">any melodies became indiscernable and jumbled.</div> That's the beauty of it IMO. Melody is overrated as is.
<div class="quote_poster">Voodoo Child Wrote</div><div class="quote_post"> Jimi - Axis Bold As Love</div> A+ Very underrated Jimi Hendrix Song. You never hear it anymore Makes the soul feel good. Rodrigo Y Gabriela Invalid Video Link not the best quality video, but there amazing. Their album is amazing as well, no lyrics in all of their songs though, so dont expect a singalong. lol
A- It was simple, but I liked it. I think they'd be better off with a drummer though, because it really takes away from her playing when she keeps slapping the guitar to keep the beat. It's inventive and would be a great technique for just jamming out with friends or whatever, when you don't have a drummer, but it doesn't make for good music. I actually liked the video though. I don't see what was poor quality about it. Where'd you find out about these guys? New Song: Robert Randolph & The Family Band - Thrill of It Invalid Video Link For some reason, they always seem to be where I'm going. I've seen these guys six times now, and they're just as solid live as they are in the studio.
<div class="quote_poster">Voodoo Child Wrote</div><div class="quote_post"> Where'd you find out about these guys? </div> They played at Bonnaroo, you know. From what I've heard, they had one of the better sets.

I wonder where Walrus found them though.

Then later on i came across them listening to BBC(British radio station) Ironically they reached like number 1 in Ireland but not there home country of Mexico. But anyways i saw them on Vh1 again one night. Decided to download the album which is pretty sweet. They also do covers of Pink Floyd, Metallica, and Led Zeppelin. Oh, also saw them on Letterman Great sig Voodoo btw! you make that?
I just love Leigh Nash's voice. I'm glad that she keeps singing after the "fall" of Sixpence None the Richer. Leigh Nash - My idea of heaven Invalid Video Link

It's very minimal, and while I appreciate her voice I don't appreciate how the song never climaxes. It just stands ground throughout. Very repetitive and boring in that sense. Kraftwerk - Autobahn Invalid Video Link
Ah, those crazy Germans. Well, I'm German too. Anyway, I bet you'd like their old song for the Tour de France. They're big fans of cycling. Kraftwerk - Autobahn - A Originals. What else can I write? Let's see, they inspire almost any artist to this day that use electronic sounds in their music. Anything from hip-hop artists to techno artists to indie artists; their inspiration was endless and their talent was unlimited, especially in their earliest days. This song in particular is great, but no where near my favorite. Still deserves an A though. You can't argue with that ****** up video, don't even get me started. Next song is from Vitalic - Trahison Invalid Video Link I decided to keep the electronic music going here with my personal favorite. In most of his tracks you can just hear the inspiration of Air and Daft Punk pushing together with something fresh, unique and even emotional. A rare talent is Pascal Arbez. One of my five favorite songs of all-time from any artist.
