Drawing from Redskin history alone, Fred Smoot was a 'proven CB' before going to Minnesota, sucking and getting benched. Jessie Armstead was a Good 32 year-old 'Proven Linebacker' (Hey, 1 year away from London Fletcher) before going to the Redskins and underachieving. Lavar Arrington was a 'Proven LB' before going to the Giants and sucking. Do I really need to go on?
