Don't give me that bullsh!t.....flip flop about what?
Did you hear me suggesting the Yanks should trade for Castro?
There were rumors of Yanks trading Gardy for Castro and I did say I would "do it".... and I said it because I believe at this point Castro is a better player, just 25 yrs old with a similar contract as Gardy.
It was not a knock on Refsnyder - I have no problem with the Yanks if they want to give him the 2b job.
And after my post in that thread, I asked who's in favor and Rick said NO and pointed out how many errors he made.

Am I wrong about Castro? Okay, fine. Whatever.
Do YOU really know he isn't a good enough athlete to make a transfer to 2b and make LESS errors than he did as a SS?
    Of course you do NOT.

And I still stand by my opinion (in this thread) → it'll be interesting to see how Castro handles the 2b job going forward.

By the way - Let me give you a tip, as of now, we'll never know if Castro (or Refsnyder, to be fair) will or won't be the answer to the Yanks' 2b problem for years.

II bet you feel as if you accomplished something....?

I haven't seen back peddling like that since I almost stepped on a snake many years back.

    Backpedaling, flip flop?
Castro is a better player at this point than Refsnyder, I gave the same reasons then as now. Tell us about the members of the "majority" who think Gardy has become a glorified #4 outfielder.....yep, you're slick....in your own mind.

    Misguided reasons? Are you nuts?
Because you said they're "misguided"? Lmao.
Get this in your head, pass it along to the audience- if the Yanks choose to go with Refsnyder, I have no problem with it.
If the Yanks traded Gardy for Castro, I have no problem with it.

Sorry if I can walk and chew gum simultaneously.

    Wow, you really zinged me!

Speaking of flopping fish, just saw an ESPN article that "Big Sloppi" is extending a warm welcome to Bostons' newest ace David Price. Remembering the days when old Shrek ran his mouth about Price he's had a change of heart praising Price to the skies (ie smooching butt).

Here's where I think you're fullashit, and "misguided":
When you say I suggested the Yanks trade for Castro, you're implying I was the one who first proposed it.

I DID say I would do it if that was the deal.
Will Refsnyder be a career .281 like Castro? I hope he's better.
    My opinion, he will "hit".
Will he be a better "2b" than Castro? I hope so!

In this neck of the desert, or any neck of any woods, we call this: H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-I-C-A-L, OR HYPOCRISY.......

    Actually I call it:
    Gardner for Castro? Okay.
    No deal? Fine.
    Go with Refsnyder? Okay.

By the way, are you the same guy who confused this:
"He is an absolute top ace and I could envision if this were 2017-18, the Yanks would reach out for him although he may not be a NY kind of guy".
    (My post #5)

    With this:
"I've never implied the Yanx can even make a bid for Zack".
    (your post #6)

    From this thread:
    http://www.sportstwo.com/threads/deal-for-greinke-heating-up.292720/

Lmao.....in my neck of the woods, we call that being dumb.
Or maybe some good old fashion poor reading comprehension.

...uhhh, no, wrong again...I didn't "imply" that you were the first who proposed it...in actuality, that is simply what you erroneously "inferred".

...buy a dictionary, take some night classes, or whatever...learn the difference between the two terms.

...fwiw, the damsel and prize giver of this board, (Lilly) has already awarded me with a 5 pond bag of crunchy Chee-tos and in essence has declared me the winner of this grossly one sided debate...that is all.

...Rick, it's a scientific fact that the only thing necessary to sustain life is Chee-tos. ...and a bean bag chair to eat them in while naked.
...and of course a little female companionship.
