There were rumors of Yanks trading Gardy for Castro and I did say I would "do it".... and I said it because I believe at this point Castro is a better player, just 25 yrs old with a similar contract as Gardy. It was not a knock on Refsnyder - I have no problem with the Yanks if they want to give him the 2b job. And after my post in that thread, I asked who's in favor and Rick said NO and pointed out how many errors he made. Am I wrong about Castro? Okay, fine. Whatever. Do YOU really know he isn't a good enough athlete to make a transfer to 2b and make LESS errors than he did as a SS? Of course you do NOT. And I still stand by my opinion (in this thread) → it'll be interesting to see how Castro handles the 2b job going forward. By the way - Let me give you a tip, as of now, we'll never know if Castro (or Refsnyder, to be fair) will or won't be the answer to the Yanks' 2b problem for years.
