I am sure that I wouldn't vote for either bill. Cash for clunker airplanes?

Now that I've started truly paying attention to politics, I've realized how comical these linked pieces you post are. Thanks for the laugh.

Well, the Democrats finally came up with a counterproposal to the Republicans aid bill, I gotta give it to them.

It’s god awful, like the Republicans. Full of irrelevant demands that have nothing to do with the current predicament. The best part is it’s even got a Mnuchin-controlled “slush fund” like the Republicans bill.

It’s becoming blatantly obvious at this point that neither party wants to help Americans. They are using partisan gridlock to avoid providing aid. What other explanation is there?

Checks will be in mail, eventually.
If they don't pass it on the next try they should not pay Congress for April.
They should be paid by piece work!

Both parties are using a national emergency to rob America blind, yet again. Disgusting.

Its simple, selfishness & power and dislike of the other-side motivate them to get all they can. No, compromise for the good of the people.
Many have been there much too long and experience in getting things done is nowhere.

Hey, House Democrats came up with the first stimulus package bill. I really wouldn't consider this a big deal until I read your post that Democrats finally came up with a counter proposal.
