you aren't paying attention to the discussion....I'm of the opinion nobody needs an AR14 to defend themselves....I am not living in fear of attack..64 years guns in America have only been used against me as a civilian...never in rescue or defense....I doubt the majority of gun owners have ever saved a civilian life at home or stopped an armed criminal with their privately owned weapon....many though have killed with them...most times in suicide...it's the issue we're facing today..not armed insurrection, revolution, etc.....a peaceful school, church, concert, movie theater going country without the need for a gun to enjoy a night out. That you can't fathom this seems to be coming from your own rigid definitions of the use of arms in civilian America....I'm not including hunting weapons..I have said repeatedly that we don't need the type of weapons on the streets that we're seeing now...opinion....respect all of them and you'll actually have a conversation about it that doesn't involve defining those you talk with as polar opposites.
