Denver has the Bulls number. On to the next game. Good to see that Thibodeau spread the minutes around. With Butler gone, I wouldn't have believed that no one would play more than 33:05. Teague got some extra run, but boy, Thibodeau must not like what he's seeing from Snell in practice.
Rough shooting night for Deng. Bulls just never seemed to impose their will on this one. Dunleavy is so passive... seems like there is a reason that he's not a NBA starter. Mile high air getting to the Bulls? Don't see them losing out on the number of hustle plays that they seemed to lose out on last night. Rose had a seemingly efficient game. A shadow of his former self though. Interesting that they were not double teaming him much. That speaks volumes.
Derrick's legs are not there yet. Good first half, second half all of this shots were woefully short. KK4E I too want to see MDJ be more aggressive. He can shoot. We need that.
My wife was working in the room around tip off. She looked at the screen and was said something along the lines of, "Why aren't they running this game?" You could see the Bulls huffing and puffing from the very beginning of the game. That's when I wrote this one off. People are making a mountain out of this game on RealGM and sports radio but I don't know how you can draw anything from it. It's too early in the season to go into Denver and expect a fair fight. That's why they've lost, what, 13 of the last 14 there. Thib's rotations were interesting though. What did you guys think of him playing Teague instead of Snell? I didn't expect that. I also didn't expect him to sit Rose and Noah when they still had a theoretical chance at winning the game.
I actually thought he looked really good early in the game. I'd be tempted to want to see Dunleavy in the starting lineup if the idea of him guarding Wade didn't make me vomit.
