Talk about a win that colored me unimpressed. Sure no Rose, but no Melo and more and a piss poor opponent to boot (once again LT recklessness doesn't equal success) but this Bulls team is touted as one of the deepest squads in the league and they flat out underperformed.

Still, Jimmy is a blessing that pretty much fell in our lap and get bent to anyone who questioned the Gasol signing. He has been awesome.

Gasol, Brooks, Butler, and Mirotic played well. Rest of the team, not so much. Although Hinrich came out of his slump

Snell couldn't do anything against a bad Knicks team. Even when McDermott comes back, we need another wing. Snell ain't it.

Jimmy Butler scores career-best 35 to help Bulls beat Knicks

In a game missing Derrick Rose and Carmelo Anthony, it was Jimmy Butler who played like a star.

Butler scored a career-high 35 points, and the Chicago Bulls beat the New York Knicks 103-97 on Thursday night.
