well that's all fine but the video clip you posted didn't impress me ...looked like more of a cakewalk which is common in the G league

The Knicks just waived Allonzo Trier to make room to pick up the guy the Nets just waived:

"But Allonzo Trier needs to do more than end his love affair with his jump shot to further improve. On top of changing his shot selection, he needs to improve his defense. His DRPM is at a lowly -2.94, which ranks 483rd in the NBA among 494 qualified players.

But wait, there’s more! Per NBA.com, Trier ranks 272nd in defensive win shares, or DWS, with a mark of 0.060. For context, Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the league with a DWS of 0.178. This means Trier is lacking more in defensive skills than Gryffindor House is in Death Eaters."https://elitesportsny.com/2019/03/08/new-york-knicks-sg-allonzo-trier-must-prioritize-his-defense/

It’s pretty much down to the lakers and blazers, and there’s more than one guy that could help.

Always liked Simmons a little bit. He seemed to have some scrap to him.

Wonder what the lakers are waiting for, thought they were zeroed in on Smith.

What about this guy; doesn't shoot well from 3, but in last full year in NBA had 6.5 rebounds per 36, 1.8 steals and a block. Need defense in the playoffs.
"Several teams heading to Orlando for the NBA’s restart have expressed strong interest in signing Long Island Nets’ Justin Anderson, per SNY sources. Those playoff contenders highly value Anderson’s defense. Anderson was named to the third All-NBA G League team. "

They are waiting because they know Portland is behind them as the next best destination.

Interesting. He shot 36% from outside in the g league, on nearly 8 attempts a game. Played 31 games, so the sample size is also pretty decent. Worth a look, but only for depth as I wouldn’t play him over Nassir. Maybe throw in an option for next year to make it worthwhile. He’s still only 26.

Honestly just give me Crabbe or Gerald Green already.

Gerald Green has a nice shot. If he's open, and he likely would be with Dame & CJ on the floor, he'd be lethal.

I hate how with other teams you hear rumors and stuff about who they are going after or who they are interested in. Like the Lakers with JR and Nick Young. With the Blazers you hear nothing until it happens

with Trent most likely moving into the starting the lineup and Simons’ inconsistency, the second unit could use another reliable shooter. Crabbe and Green stand out, on paper at least.

I don't even know why this is much of a discussion. If Mbah a Moute is healthy and in shape then he's got to be our guy. He's such a great defender and when we face the Lakers in the first round he is easily the best guy we can get to D up LeBron. Oh and the guy hits more than a third of his threes so that will keep the floor spaced.

Mbah would be great. Crabbe as well, he knows how to play with Dame/CJ. Gerald Green could work well too.

Hell I'm really happy with any of them... Trent isn't a proven option as a starter it just feels that way with some of the crap SF options we've had. One or two proven options would be great. I just hope we aren't passing on signing to save a couple bucks.
