    Can you imagine the debates?

Rock: "what do you think about the immigration policy? Come on. Tell the Rock and the millions AND MILLIONS of the rock's voters your stance on the immigration policy?"

    Opponent: "well, I ---"

Rock: "IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THE IMMIGRATION POLICY!" The Rock has to sit up here and listen to these Jabronies jabber on, well let the rock put you on notice. He will layeth the smacketh down on any roodie-poo candy ass who opposes the Rock on the immigration policy!"

Right, let's elect someone with no apparent qualifications whatsoever, based on his TV and movie appearances.

What the hell do you have to lose?

I would have to say based on our past experience we have more than a lot to lose.

So the worst part about Donald Trump was his lack of experience? Maybe he will be better next time now that he has 4 years under his belt.

Well, I said qualifications, not experience. But no, lack of qualifications or experience itself wasn't the worst thing about Trump, but it should have been a big flashing danger sign.

White male privileged background and can't believe he could ever be accountable for anything. Trump was the epitome, still crying about how persecuted he is. And the Jan 6 insurrectionists who are astonished they are actually being arrested for breaking the law.

But the dream can't be based on white privilege. Or pretending it doesn't exist.

Ironically, it seems to be the most privileged white people wagging their fingers at the rest of the poor and working class to “get with the program.” Somehow CEOS of billion dollar corporations and Ivy League graduated liberals are able to get away with being part of a largely white, elite demographic as long as they virtue signal and make a few ‘woke’ statements to shift the blame to average white people who live in the same neighborhoods as Blacks, Asians and Latinos. They only dip their toe in social justice enough to get the attention off of themselves, then they continue to operate business as usual. I understand inequality exists but I find a lot of the current trending on the subject to be largely disingenuous.

I bet the average CEO of a billion dollar corporation interacts on a daily basis with more people of color than the average guy in Wyoming.

So does Donald Trump and he’s an evil racist I’m told. Not sure what point you are making here other than an arbitrary observation on the demographics where I live, which doesn’t disprove anything I said.

    What makes the observation arbitrary?

As for what you said, it's kind of gobbledegook. "Somehow CEOS of billion dollar corporations and Ivy League graduated liberals are able to get away with being part of a largely white, elite demographic"

How does one 'get away' with being part of a demographic? Can they change their ethnicity? What would they need to do to become non-'elite'?

Are you getting away with being a white guy in Wyoming?

Maybe an example of a CEO transferring blame to average people would help your argument. I'm not seeing it so far.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Since when did white CEOs of billion dollar companies become beloved of the left or become considered "woke?" My perception of how they're viewed is pretty much the opposite.

They mouth (or, rather, type) messages of diversity and social engagement not because they're any more cognizant of social justice issues than anyone else but because they perceive that that's the direction their customer base is going and they don't want to alienate paying customers. The vast majority of them are probably extremely conservative when it comes to social issues. Pretty much everyone understands that.
