>> It hasn't happened yet. Like I told you, I got the scuttle butt from my new VA provider, that it is going to happen. Nothing to do with Obama. No, but you can keep watch.
Not to you, but to a lot of folks it has been a life saver whether it fits with your GNP guidelines or not....20 million people have access that didn't...some with preexisting conditions....Trump said he will leave several of the pieces of the healthcare law intact...if he doesn't....there will be a lot of angry americans bumped off their treatments....not a great way to make America great again...until they have something better, which they don't yet.....they should change some of it. Obama said if Trump can tweak it and make it better, he'll lobby for it......that's a man of character
Did you ever hear of an accounting that tallies up the net? You say 20 that didn't, but I know millions lost there healthcare. Did you ever get a net difference number?
If the colleague leans to the left, the eggs get fried. If the colleague leans to the right.....? Well, let's just say the colleague is unlikely to be missed......did I get it correctly????
you must really get around Marz......you know millions that lost healthcare? wow....ok...if they did, they probably had options compared to the folks that couldn't afford it originally but hey....my wife and I had to shop in the marketplace and she now has completed her dental work that was put off for years...thanks Obama! I had insurance before I retired from the state but actually paid more for my wife and son's addition to my healthcare than I pay for all of us now under Oregon Fair Health plan.....so you can say you know a guy who really didn't lose under the system
Oh, I wouldn't say I get around. But I do know of several companies where the retirees lost there healthcare. Just the few companies I know of means millions of people, most of them can not buy insurance like they were provided. Then there are other where they lost it at work. But getting back to the point, you always hear how many gained access! Did you ever hear the final net difference? Those that got fuck with losing is a different subject that I would rather not try to discuss on here because it piss me off no end that it's ok to fuck some for the benefit of those you want to help. That should get you war!
I lost mine when I retired from the state....what's so unusual about that? They lost their jobs....means benefits too...they all could apply for healthcare though just like I did. If they have no income, it's basically free....I have to pay a bit but as I said....not as much as I did through my old insurance....what you should address is not Obamacare Marz.....it's tort reform and insurance pilfering enormous profits from pharms that cost nothing to manufacture...those 10 dollar pills probably cost a fraction of your cost to make them. Same with Dental care.....my wife's partial plate costs more than my truck....where they factor in the expenses is criminal
You realize that $10,000 a year in premiums with a $10,000 deductible does very few people any good. They're paying out of pocket for doctors and meds. Write checks to the very few and we save money and get the same result. $300/mo in meds at full price is 1/3 the total premium. $6400 covers dozens of doctor visits and lab bills.
only people paying out of pocket have money to do so....those without..the poor, orphaned, homeless, mentally ill, disabled etc are left out in the cold...
Write checks for the few that can't pay. We already have a massive welfare state for that. And Obama gutted Medicare for $500B, use that.
What the hell you babbling on about? I am talking about all the people that lost their healthcare because Obama made it a legal alternative to no longer provide healthcare to retirees instead of paying the tax the act imposed. It seem incredible that they want to provide healthcare to some, but would tax the healthcare being provided to others! But they did it and for the most part it cost them their care, except those Obama exempted. The question was, did you ever hear of a net total change of those that got healthcare? You know, new health care minus those that lost because of Obama care. "what you should address", this is sort of funny, someone would want to tell me what I should address!! Seems you might have spent one too many years teaching sir. If you don't mind, I will continue to determine what I should address. But no need for this, I did only ask a simple question, looking for a net total.
I'm not in favor of a massive welfare state...but that's not the issue we're discussing...I'm a local...have spent 17 years in public work for the State seeing several hundred Oregonians regularly until the last year and a half......of the americans I know...more have benefited from Oregon Fair Health plan than suffered from Obamacare although I agree it's not a really good system...it's a start...and it starts at the bottom. I don't personally know that many people who have been forced from having health care because of Obamacare....those that are I'm sure have a legitimate gripe..but let's assess the whole not the fragment
From what I could find just now: https://ballotpedia.org/Health_insurance_policy_cancellations_since_Obamacare Number of people impacted NBC News reported that between 50 percent and 75 percent of the 14 million who buy individual health insurance will likely receive a cancellation notice in the next year because their current plans do not meet the requirements of Obamacare.[4] CBS News reported that more than two million Americans have been told they cannot renew their current insurance policies.[11] The administration knew in July 2010 that more than 40 percent to 67 percent would likely not be able to keep their existing policies.[4] Health policy consultant Robert Laszewski estimated 80 percent of individual insurance buyers would have to find new policies which would require more benefits and a higher price tag.[4] According to the Washington Post, as of October 19, 2013, the enrollment numbers for people using Healthcare.gov exchanges to sign up for individual plans was about 476,000, meaning more people have received letters canceling their plans than have enrolled in new plans due to the struggling website. The first official report on enrollment in the federal exchanges was expected to be released November 15, 2013.[12]
