We talked with Wheels about this and he said that is not the case. He said the delay was merely due to distribution and that the person that could develop an app to sync the two could probably make a little money. I love the new broadcast team. Hurd has gotten better as the season has progressed.

I'm still under the paranoid belief that they hired Cola Bro to replace Wheels on the radio. My paranoia isn't based on Paul Allen secretly hiring a Seattle guy to help with the eventual move to Seattle...but it's based on the fact that Cola Bro's best work is behind the mic on the radio.
When Holton was corny, he did it with a twinkle in his eye because he was doing it to be silly. Hurd does it because he thinks it makes him cool, and it doesn't.
It's been a whole season and I still miss the Mikes. Calabro and Hurd are tolerable at best. I think it was @riverman that mentioned replacing Jaynes with the Mikes, or maybe just Barrett on Talkin' Ball is a great idea. Jaynes needs to be completely irradicated from all Portland media once and for all. How he resurrected his career here is beyond me. He's fucking awful. Always has been.
honestly, i dont mind them as much as i thought i would. they are better than others. worse than others too, but they arent horrible. better than the clippers commentary...... MMMMMMMMMMMBBBBBIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOO...... STUPID! i also find the "closer" thing hilarious.
