how about getting jim o brein back. he was the man, and they played very good defense when he was here. Silas would be my obv choice but o brein is the man
this team isn't suited for o'brien's offense. plus, the reason o'brien left is because he didn't like ainge.

I don't really get this argument either, one bulds the team and one scouts? What does that imply? They both build the team, one decides who will be there and one tries to make those players work together. Ainge is a good coach, he showed that in Phoenix. I think he could be a great coach here in Boston considering the fact that he knows a lot about the players he drafted and he has proven he can coach in the NBA.</div>What it implies is that a GM will have a tough time coaching a time, because the job he is used to has a totally differant persepctive on each aspect of the game. When a coach watches a game, and a Gm watches the same one at the same time in the stands tey are both thinking to differant things. Its hard to make that work, but if Ainge is as good as people say it might.
I think that Silas or Adelman could do a great job. Although, I would probably prefer Silas due to the fact that Adelman's teams have not been known to play good defense. But once I look at the team as a whole, Adelman could do great things with the C's. His offensive beliefs and coaching style would help the celtics out alot. Honestly, they need to fire Doc and not bring in Larry Brown and they would be ok IMO. Well, obviously they couldnt bring in anybody but you know what I mean...
larry brown would be horrible for this team honestly. he refuses to play young players, and this isn't his type of team. if we had HIS personel and HIS style we'd be a pretty dang good team, but he's a bad fit.
