If he developed Covid lesions in his lungs (like I did) rehab can be three months - and that’s just get the lungs functioning and not even considering playing basketball! I’ve been out of the hospital for 4 weeks and I can’t climb the flight of stairs without trouble. I’m still using oxygen 24/7 for the blood oxygen levels. Getting stronger each day but no way am I playing basketball!
We were supposed to be $627,852 below the line. If those were not likely i m sure Olshey would have cleared 1.3 more. He said he doesn't want to go over the line.
IMO unless he got an All Star level talent or at least close, I don't want him going over the cap this year either.
They have money for a million years, it won't really hurt them but yeah. Signing a min contract player won't make a dif anyway.
I wonder what happened to Bell. I know he had that great start with GS, but then really tailed off and hasn't stuck with any other club. Did he lose some desire? For a guy like him with his physical limitations, he has to go 119% every minute.
he was a second round pick with a less than ideal frame and no jump shot. Odds weren’t good he was gonna turn into anything. People overrated him because back when he was drafted the Warriors could do no wrong and every undersized four was “the next draymond.” Blazers fans were also extra annoying when Olshey didn’t draft him.
Couldn't possibly agree more... I can't believe he's not already on an NBA roster. Loved his potential coming out of Creighton a few years back & it looks like he's been developing quite nicely. I would snap this kid up with a quickness, if I were in N.O.'s Ferragamo boat shoes, at the moment.
It’s just annoying how Olshey ignores the g league, especially when two fifths of his starting lineup are products of it. This year he has no excuse to not fill those spots since the players can stay/develop with the main squad the whole season. He leaves one spot open, which fine, I can see the strategy behind that, but then he fills the other one with a guy that has no business being anywhere near the NBA. Jokes.
could be he was so satisfied with the roster after the additions he didn't think that tiny margin would be an issue but, all I was saying is that what I interpreted the CBA saying does not match what Bobby Marks said in that tweet. That's why I linked the section of the CBA FAQ that covered performance bonuses
Bell has spectacular athleticism but very remedial skills and no shot. That's not a resume for any sustained success Bell was a better college player than his teammate Chris Boucher. Boucher wasn't at athletic as Bell, but Boucher had broader skills and more importantly, can shoot with range. Modern NBA
I decided to google "What happened to Jordan Bell", haha and came up with this link. Apparently argued with Kerr once on the bench, late for a practice, missed some individual workouts, etc. https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/w...ension-shows-hes-running-out-chances-warriors
Theoretically speaking, if we signed Patton to a two way, would he become a RFA after the season, assuming we gave him a qualifying offer? If the answer is yes, I would sign him over anyone. Kanter and Giles are both UFAs after the season, so it would be nice to have control over another big.
Ya that is the only question mark. My take on wanting him over the others is based purely on his game from GS and Oregon days. I have no idea what is up with him now.
Who knows what NO will do? When is Zach slated to return? The team needs that attitude of his. Only Trent has the killer instinct right now imho. Course that's just my guess, but it probably is because of his draft position and the fact that stotts plays min too few minutes. The team is just too nice, especially stotts. Other players and coaches will tell it like it is
Ok then I would take a hard pass on him if that is his attitude. I don't get that from a young player.
