Kid can shoot it from the outside, has a couple of post moves, passes the ball well, blocks shots, moves at least somewhat decently out on the perimeter. When you have extra 2-way spots, and a significant need, and it won't count against your cap, what is the holdup?
PJ Tucker-- Rockets want three second round picks. Good luck with that one. hhttps://www.theringer.com/nba/2021/1/18/22236679/nba-power-rankings-james-harden-trade
He looks to be the same size as Giles. (240 with a 7'3" wing) Is there anyone a little "wider" out there?
We don't need a great passing center for as long as Terry Stotts is the coach. It's a completely under-utilized skill in our offense. Nurk would be better off on another team.
Nurk is a pretty good passing center. Above-average for sure. Not sure I would consider him a great passing center though. When he tries to be "great" is when he gets into trouble IMO, by forcing the pass into a space that is not there.
It's because we have virtually no one cutting on this team. Even after getting one of the best in the league in DJJ. They are all taught to stand in the corners and leave the middle open for Damian to create. Which is great. But, you gotta mix it up. There are easier ways to get baskets when you let Nurk find cutters and open shooters. Problem is, no one on the team knows how or where to cut so Nurk is sometimes credited with turnovers.
nurk is no jokic by any means, but i remember his backdoor passes to layman, dame, cj mccollum, harkless or interior passing to vonleh now we do that only occasionally
Boucher has been a monster, so I sorta get it. But waiving? Surely they coulda extracted value out of him. Prolly a followup move coming.
