    Adding CJ to the Kawhi less Spurs wouldn't be a rebuild. They are doing just fine without him, adding a 20+ point scorer to the starting lineup would be a blessing for the Spurs. Defense is another story.

    This. They are 3rd in the West without Kawhi playing. Danny Green is having a down season. Insert C.J. into that lineup and they have a second 20 ppg scorer.

    As far as defense goes, remember, Pop turned Patty Mils into a decent defender.

    No those things he could still do. That's why I said I would still trade for him.
    But you have to admit Pop's system makes players who are willing to run it......look really good.. More open shots, better team D.

    Honestly don't know if we'd have enough. Any trade would include CJ. Plus it's a Conference
    Rival and Kawhi would really have to be solid with Portland's future.
