Or it could just as easily be that they gained the rest of those agents, who realize that they can not just expect Portland to roll over and give them whatever they want. These agents might realize SPAM is over and they are going to run the team like a business. You can spin it either way, but I guess we'll never know. We'll see how disrespected Roy and his agent feel about the entire process during the press conference on Friday. My guess is they'll say it's part of the business that is the NBA and there are no hard feelings.
Exactly They negotiated, Roy & his agent won. I'm sure the Blazers aren't mad at Roy because they understand it's a business. Just like I expect Roy wouldn't have been mad if he did end up having to give up something he wanted. It appeared all along to be a simple, harmless month of negotiations. I'm very happy to have Roy locked up!
