Try doing some research before calling someone a liar.

The fact is THIS organization is very high on him and expect big things out of him. And it's needed out of him. Right here, now.

+> Good point. Thnx. I was centered on althletic abilities and team chemistry. He has that here but I could envision him contributing on a team like the Spurs without being selfish.

"Supporting that mindset was a rather audacious statement in which Olshey said that Aldridge and Batum were as significant to the Blazers as Chris Paul and Blake Griffin are to the Clippers."

    I digress

So do we want the Spurs to lose in the first round? Then at least we can point and say they didn't get any further than we did and didn't have the injuries we did. But then again I hate the Clippers...

This was the buzz on hoopshype this morning: Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard has been named Defensive Player of the Year ... Both the Spurs and the Mavericks think they have a shot at LaMarcus Aldridge ... Joel Embiid to play at the summmer league? ...

Marc Stein: We know Knicks & Lakers will chase LaMarcus Aldridge come July, but at least two teams in Texas believe they have shot at him: Spurs & Mavs. You keep hearing Spurs/Mavs plan to be at front of line for Big D native Aldridge in free agency. Blazers have work cut out to hang onto him. Twitter @ESPNSteinLine

I know it isn't all about money for every player but I still don't see LMA leaving 37+ Mil on the table to sign with someone else. IF he leaves (and I still don't believe he will) then he will be doing a sign and trade with us and another team.

After watching the Mavericks meltdown with Rondo i think Aldridge would be a fool to test those waters.

Wouldn't the Mavs need us to sign and trade him to bring him in anyway since they won't have the capspace, and you would have to think we'd want the only good young player they have in Chandler Parsons, so why would LMA want to go there outside of being homesick?

The Knicks and Lakers aren't even worth a second thought if he really wants to win, we can pay him more than they can, so money shouldn't be the factor. So the Spurs are the only worry to me.

Kevin Love is plan B? I mean who else is there? You have got to always have a plan B.

That's the only team I worry about as well because their coach is the best in the league, they are close to his home town, they have a history of contention and he gets to play next to his idol Duncan.

And frankly, if I saw that move, I would be happy for him.

It is us or the Spurs no doubt. No other team has a legit chance at him AT ALL. It will be us though so that is nice.

Ill be pissed but if LMA leaves for the spurs but ill still cheer for him everytime he plays at the Moda Center. If he had forced his way off the Blazers like Vince Carter did for Toronto id never let it go.

I will say this about the Lakers though, When they go into rebuild mode they are usually a team that recovers pretty fast.

If Kevin Love is plan B, then I certainly hope they started with plan Z and counted backwards...

When was the last time they went into rebuild mode and who was in charge? Jerry Buss ain't walking through that door, and although he was just the owner, he was a pretty good closer. How has the pitch to top Free Agents worked since his death. Ask Dwight Howard.
