I agree. Keep Przybilla for his work ethic and low salary requirement.
I want Elliot Williams and Chris Johnson to get more experience.
Wallace is 50/50 in my books if he wants to resign.

Throw in a draft pick and I'd be cool w/ it... Beasley being a FA means we can give him an already-paid-for tryout and if he has any issues, can be cut at a moment's notice...

Like others have said, with his talent, it's worth a shot

Yep, $12.5M. If we traded for him, we'd obviously release that hold immediately this summer.

Jaynes says the Ridnour talk is a backup plan to Rondo, Nash or Calderon.

With Miller and Buchanan, I fully expect them to fail with their plan-A guards and Ridnour will be a Blazer.

    Very excite.

Not me. I fully expect them to overpay for Nash or Calderon. Can't wait to see Williams light us up after we deal him

Nash is a stopgap due to his age and Caleron will make Nate go crazy with his defense. Rondo is a pipedream, it's too late for that option now.

There is no doubt in my mind that we could get Rondo..... just at what cost.

If they ever deal Rondo I think they keep Bradley as their PGOTF. They are high on him.

The guy in your picture for starters....

MIN wants Crawford...I don't like what they are dangling though...Ridnour? ick.... I'd rather see POR take Beasley, he is still young, would allow them to deal Wallace for something of value...his cap hold sucks though and you would need to be Johnny on the spot in re-upping him if his try out here worked out, otherwise you are just trading one temporary asset at a position you need (SG) for one you don't (SF).... doesn't make much sense to me..

Not opposed for POR dealing for Beasley though, it is just that other subsequent moves would need to be made, namely dealing Wallace....Maybe to a team like HOU?

I wouldn't mind seeing POR ask for Wesley Johnson instead either....

I just don't think Rondo is possible...

Even in the best case scenario, POR is giving up Batum\E-Will and taking on salary from BOS....

and it leaves the rest of the roster a mess IMO.....You have the 2 main pieces though in Rondo (PG) and Aldridge (big)...but the rest is just ugh....

Matthews is ok as a bench player, but is very inconsistent and he becomes your starting SG.....Now you probably have to Keep Wallace, nice hustle player, but can't shoot with an consistency, and you just traded the house away for Rondo who can do many things, but outside shooting is not his forte...and your bench is well.....

Babbitt? Thomas? Przybilla? N.Smith? Love the hustle of Przybilla, like Thomas both as ROLE players...but scoring? ouch....

But the rest now is just ugh? PG is so important, if you are going to start over, you might as well start with one of the op PG's in the league

I agree with what you are saying....but the problem is in acquiring Rondo, that he is not a shooter...and under current form you have surrounded him with other players who are clearly not shooters (or inconsistent at best) in namely Matthews and Wallace....If you think it is bad now wait until you see teams defend\collapse the middle on this starting five and dare them to make outside shots to beat them...

Wallace is 29 and play is likely to start slipping very soon...

Both of your centers are REALLY old...I mean Camby is likely gone, Przybilla could last another few years...maybe....So you have no long term answer at center..

and you have no bench....I mean NONE.....Babbitt has been horrible, Nolan Smith has been just a tiny bit north of horrible....Thomas is great in spot minutes but is ancient, Craig Smith, ok in spot minutes and Johnson, who is really not worth mentioning....and let's see in the trade proposal above you not are getting back any help of note in O'Neal\Daniels and Wilcox....

    You might have some capspace....

You might have Freeland, Claver if either\both weren't included in the trade already....

You WILL have your 2012 draft pick as I do not think that can be traded....although POR would probably have to deal a 2015 1st rounder in this deal (no biggie I guess)

Yeah, I guess maybe it could work, suck it up this year, question is whether or not you have faith in POR mgmt to put some shooters and the right players around them....Eventually\soon as possible you would need to get some shooters (a guy like Budinger?) to put around this team and make defenses pay for doubling LaMarcus or trying to clogg up the middle (to prevent drives by Rondo)....

Of course you have to get BOS to go for that deal and they are currently demanding Aldridge...

I agree though, a Rondo\Aldridge twosome would be more exciting than we currently have....
