<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trip:</div><div class="quote_post">I hear your pain, but ever since I became a Warriors fan, them being in the playoffs would look weird to me. Since you never look for them in the upper half of the standings.</div>This is the reason I was really looking foward to this year. We could all see the potential this team had and it showed when we beat the Lakers and Kings on back to back games and had a record of 14-13. Than the injuries came and buried our season. We started out this season injured but still made some strides in the right direction, even more injuries were too much to handle.
All in all, injuries are the scapegoat for this team's season again. Don't any of you guys think that it actually is because the Warriors are just not meant to succeed in recent years? I do. The Warriors are jinxed.
Injuries hurt a lot when a team loses their top three players from a season ago. But in general, using injuries as an excuse doesn't get very far, especially if you are talking to other NBA fans. I bet the Sonics would had loved to have Ray Allen and Collison at the beginning of the season. I bet the Clipper wish they had Brand all year. I bet the 76ers wish AI was healthier than he has been. I bet the Laker fans wish that Karl and the rest of that team were healthy more. And now look at the Raptors and all of their injuries. Injuries in a long 82 game season is something you have to play through. Injuries happen to every team besides the very fortunate teams. And there are a lot more teams that have had injuries that have affected them, than the ones i've listed here, such as the TWolves with Wally and Hudson being out...
The wolves are just way too deep. They've only got like 5 all star caliber players. The warriors need everyone of their guys just to compete. It is amazing we've beaten them twice.
