My birthday is coming up and the lady is treating me somewhere nice. I originally wanted to do Saltys brunch but found out they aren’t doing that because of Covid.

Any ideas? I’m leaning toward dim sum but she’s not a huge fan. Ugh

We don't go to restaurants because of Covid. We did go to the Portland City Grill because of the stunning view at night and the service was great but the food was bad.

When my wife (then girlfriend) visited in Portland, one of the places I took her was Jake's Famous Crawfish. She LOVED it! So did I. We sat in a quaint booth. It was amazing. We still chat about it from time to time and want to go back. We also went to Jimmy Mak's (jazz club) nearby. That was way cool, as well. I think it's since closed. Too bad.

Highland Stillhouse in Oregon City and Stone Cliff Inn on the Clackamas River are good.
