Les Schwab makes no sense because it is a regional company.

    Intel would be ok

Columbia Sportswear is the obvious best choice if they are interested The Columbia Rose Garden makes way too much sense

I still don't see it happening. Portland's just not attractive enough of a market and the Blazers aren't big enough of a draw to make a major corporation shell out major cash for the naming rights. Looking at existing naming deals http://espn.go.com/sportsbusiness/s/stadiumnames.html it seems like a million a year is likely what the Blazers would expect to get. What company is seriously going to think spending a million dollars every year for the naming rights to a stadium in a relatively small city with little to no national appeal is a good investment.

Like how people now say Mrs BoBo, and finally stopped referring to her as Mrs HCP?

    I can see it now:

Columbia outdoor wear. Because it always rains when the Lakers come to town.
    or
Columbia outdoor wear. Because the Blazers always make it rain threes.

Arent a big enough draw? We are 4th in the league for attendance.
    http://espn.go.com/nba/attendance
We are also a one sport/arena city. That gives the RG that much more exposure.

Not me. From now on I'm calling it the Ribbed For Her Pleasure Con-Dome. And I'm bringing protection.

Can it be called "Fred Meyer Center"? I mean for me; Fred Meyer is all Oregon.

And nothing else. Why would Fred Meyer pay that much to sponsor a stadium that will not pay for itself on a national level because Fred Meyer is not national

Totally disagree with you. We will see when the terms of the deal come out but Comcast paid over $100 million to carry Blazer games I think your underestimating the marketing opportunity.

It's the regional arm of Kroger now, so it could happen, but why, right? There's already a Fred Meyer on every corner here.

Again, that's not a National company, so what is their motivation?

This was discussed in another thread, but Fred Meyer is not specific to Oregon and it's owned by Kroger for the last 10 years or so.

Regional chain, community good will. Also, I was making a joke.
