Those links are pretty annoying, but it's not something to get too mad at. Anything that has relevance with whatever search engine (or RSS feed, I don't know) is behind what's supplying the links. I've noticed that the links only pop up for the first time you say, for example, a player's name. For example: Names that have already been said in this thread: Luke Ridnour, Steve Nash, Ray Allen Names that HAVEN'T already been said in this thread: Amare Staudamire, Chris Wilcox, Shawn Kemp EDIT: Maybe my theory doesn't work afterall...

It's not like these advertisements cover all of the expenses, because I'm almost positive that they don't. It lessens the load on the bill-payers a little, yes, but it's not like they're millionaires over there.
We're just experimenting with this type of advertising. I have to admit it's very obnoxious with all the words underlined within a post. I think the technology is pretty cool, but it needs some tweaks. Sorry for the inconvenience and we'll definitely get rid of it if they won't cooperate with toning it down.

We just don't want to make money at the inconvenience of our members though. I think the software should limit the amount of keywords highlighted per topic to maybe 3 at the most and not 50 or so.
