    Didn't some coach (college...pro?)
use Curly Neal to demonstrate dribbling to his team? Abused them in a drill?
Seems to me, it wasn't too long ago..
    Am I trippin' on this?
Was fortunate enough to see the Globetrotters in their early 1970's heyday.
A memory I could never forget.

    Story time...
    Was 10 years old...
My dad was a pretty big guy..hard to miss in a crowd...
At one point in the game my dad got up to go take a piss..As he was walking up the steps, Meadowlark Lemon stopped the game and started yelling " HEY. ..HEY...HEY YOU.."
He was yelling at my overweight father marching up the stairs...when dad finally realized he was the target, and turned around, Meadowlark yells " I......KNOW.......WHERE.......YOU'RE......GOING!!!!!.....)
It was hillarious, and my dad, who somewhat resembled Jackie Gleason did the Gleason dance back...

Weird times, no matter who you were in life no one who dies these days gets to have a funeral.

Cause of death wasn't given, other than he had suffered a stroke and was ill following it.
