I think D overvalues RJ a bit. Jazz wont give up Millsap. Getting Brand would be great though. Solid big man, if he returns fully from the injury he'll become an absolute beast alongside a proven perimeter scorer like VC. Add in Harris' penetrations, and you may have something special. Clips will want our 1st pick though. :/</div> Damn, AK schooled Kenyon in that first video. I want him here, I think he needs a change of scenery. Man, if only it was possible to get Brand and AK here... or is it?
I don't think it's possible to get both of them. Any deal with Brand will have to involve RJ for salary purposes, unless Clips fire Baylor and decide to completely rebuild. As far as I know, they blame their crappy season on injuries. So if they really think they can become a playoff team without injuries next year, they wont sell Brand for "hope". RJ for Kirilenko is a good trade for both teams. Sloan will beat some sense into RJ and tell him to start focusing on D again. Kirilenko will have a lot more freedom in NJ, becoming the 2nd option on offense, which should energize him. Getting Brand would be a steal. He's never had an elite perimeter player of Carter's caliber, and having Harris is like having Livingston develop faster. Then you throw in a perimeter oriented big like Krstic, and you may have something special -- if you're able to replace RJ with a SOLID perimeter defender who can shoot the 3 (Bowen type). You need at least 2 good perimeter defenders. Nets have been lacking them ever since the Finals teams of 02/03 - because Kittles left and Kidd aged.
