So I've been doing my 15k word paper on foreign policy for the past 5 hours now, then I randomly got distractd and started watching a bunch of roasts. Jesus Christ I love Jeff Ross. Dude pops out gems like no other. By any chance, anyone know where I can find the quentin tarantino roast? Apparently it was hilarious.
There are a few classic performances at these roasts but my favourite is Norm MacDonald at the Bob Saget roast. MacDonald read a newspaper during the roast and didn't really acknowledge anyone, even people insulting him. Then when it was his turn to perform he stood up and told jokes from the 1930's (Bob Saget is a man who often has something on his mind--yeah, a hat!) and invited extremely long awkward pauses. It was a baffling and ultimately hilarious twist on the show format.

I liked the Norm Macdonald one, but I love it when guys like Giraldo and Ross just get dark with their jokes.
Found it. http://www.thecomedynetwork.ca > watch full episodes > video library > comedians A-Z > Macdonald norm > roast of bob saget outtakes Dunno if his whole routine from the show is there but the parts I remember are.
Anyone know if Louis CK has ever done a roast? He'd be boss at that. So would Chris Rock and Eddie Murphy. Of course the latter wouldn't, he's too busy counting his cash.
and from the same Trump roast:
I think he is more self-deprecating than insulting so I don't know how he would fare. But here is a clip of him asking Donald Rumsfeld if he's a lizard so you know he has brass ones:
