Horry never averaged over 10 pts. He was never a leader of any team. He's probably the best role player in this decade. He is a very clutch shooter and part of NBA history but he doesnt deserve to mentioned with names like Jordan, Malone, etc.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting BALLAHOLLIC:</div><div class="quote_post">Putting Robert Horry in the nba hall of fame would be an insult to the other great players in there yes he has had a great post-season career but overall his career was not very good.people with a 7.5 point per game average for there career should be no where near the nba hall of fame.</div> CO-SIGN Dont get me wrong, Horry is a good player, clutch even, but he is in no way a HOF player. Careers stats are very low. If we put cats in the HOF based off of big shots in the playoffs then there should be a place for John Paxson, Trent Tucker, Craig Hodges, you get the picture. All of these players have had huge playoffs and have rings to prove it. Well not Tucker but he has hit some big shots. In the regular season, I dont remember hearing Robert Horry's name being called too often. HOF are made year round. Hey remember this basketball fans: Horry looked like he was the man in Game 5 but in Game 6, this cat was missing with air balls and hitting the other side of the backboard without hitting the rim. HOF material year right. Shape is right. Hopefully there will be a role player section in the HOF then he will get his props. Remember, NO NIque, No Horry.
