There's absolutely no reason for him to. McMillan should not go away from LMA now that he's rolling.

I agree. It's time to partner up with Ruth Chris steakhouse, "Prime-rib-steak, prime-rib-steak, prime-rib-steak."

The thing I liked best was that he finally forced the issue on the fast break. I think Miller got on him in the first quarter for passing it back to him. With Nic's length he just needs to be more aggressive. Even if he is being closely guarded, he still needs attack.

That was a good win for us tonight. Not a huge Nate fan, but his substitution pattern was better tonight. Overall pretty good flow. Batum had a good all around game, could of played a little stronger on defense, now if we could just get this consistently out of him on a regular basis it would open our offense up even more.

A win is a win. Go Blazers

Absolutely. He's my favorite player on this team, but he frustrates the hell out of me when he pulls it back or starts posting up guys on a fast break. He's got a crazy good ability to finish around the hoop with either dunks or really pretty layups, and he chooses to be passive. Same with the times when he either has a WIDE OPEN LANE and settles for a three, or when he gets open off curls.... he needs to take it to the rim (like below). And he does have a handle. He's just not confident with it yet.

I think it's coming slowly but surely. It took 4 seasons and Roy to go down to finally force LA to get more aggressive. Once Nic finds that confidence and aggressiveness, he's gonna be really good. It's why I don't want us to trade him.

Yes we need to be patient with Nic. Blazer fans see all the inconsistencies with our players but only the highlights of the players they want to trade for. The grass is not always greener. The other players are inconsistent too. I sure wouldn't trade him for a 33 year old Battier at this point.
