See this is why you dont get excited about beating the warriors. Also I told you Sura would not do what he did the night before again, not even close, he had 7 points, 1 assist, and 3 rebounds.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AznxBaller:</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah, a disappointing loss to the Bobcats for Houston. Some good points of the game however, Yao had a pretty nice game with all those boards, it shows that he was aggressive to the basket. However, McGrady had a horrible shooting night with 9-30 shooting but was able to manage 9 assists and 7 rebounds. Pretty nice if you ignore his low shooting percentage. I agree with Trip about his shooting situation. He needs to be able to hit those jumpers more consistently but also must be able to mix it up with occasional cuts to the basket. Imagine a strategy with McGrady cutting to the basket, while Yao dishes it down to him for the easy layup. Or vice versa of course. Overall, the Bobcats just out hustled us on the defensive end of the court. They grabbed rebounds, had a bunch of steals, and played harder than us. We played sloppily, and this is what happens. Just hope Houston can see some light out of this and drastically improve their gameplay.</div> Uh... I'm not sure what game you were watching, but he wasn't really that agressive.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Uh... Yao alone, caused 6 fouls on just the Bobcats centers, and blocked 4 shots. The only argument you can make that he wasn't aggressive in the minutes he played is the fact that he got to the line only 4 times, but that's in 26 minutes..

The game was close, there are upsets every other night it seems like...what's the big deal?</div> Hey, Real Deal is a good guy so leave him alone, he wasn't bashing the rockets at all, well at least I can't see how he was.

The game was close, there are upsets every other night it seems like...what's the big deal?</div> It's all good Real Deal, it seems some people are still mad about the San Antonio Game Thread. Most of us understand your point of view, and the fact is -- we lost.. to the Bobcats. The same factors as last year have been arising, yet Jeff Van Gundy is blowing them off. Remember, 'inconsistency?' Tell me, how do you lose the Pistons by a respectable 8, then lose by 20? How do you take the Mavs into overtime IN DALLAS, but you lose AT HOME by over 20? How do you beat the Spurs, but not the Bobcats? That is what I call inconsistency. Energy? We need energy, yet he always has Boki, Padgett, Barrett, and 'Spoon rotting on the bench, until we're down by 15, or up by 20. Lue is already over Barrett, Bowen, is over Boki.. Why sit a 47% 3 point shooter, especially on the IR?! I don't see what Bowen does, just picks up fouls, misses open jump shots.. And when Ward comes back, Barrett will be on the IR, and Ward will be a regular in the rotation. Ironic isn't it, that JVG wants defense, yet in the West, the 'Land of the Big Men,' he starts either Mo Taylor, or Juwan Howard. Defensively, they are horrid, and offensively, they aren't doing much. You would think with all the money Mo is getting this year, he could just step on his wallet to get a rebound.. Why not give 'Spoon or Padgett a start? We have the 'developing players' in Boki, Gaines, and Barrett, and we know Boki and Gaines have trouble hitting their shots, but why settle for 6 year veterans who miss their shots? Just my 2 cents.
I hope I don't get misundazstood again by saying this...= at least we have room for improvement, we have a star in tmac who is far from his potential, while Yao is also far from his prime. We have a big man who has skills, and no team will go far if they don't have a great center. Some teams are playing their very best and still breaking even. So we shouldn't even be as worried as them. And trip btw u got me wrong because I am a Laker fan whether u like it or not..
