    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rocket:</div><div class="quote_post">Not a bad idea, but I believe he's under contract overseas...correct me if Im wrong...

I dont believe we'll request and injury exception because everybody seems to be confident that Sura will return in full healthy...

as for who we can trade...I think Wesley is our only true asset...its too early to give up on Swift and Alston, and I do think we should give Baxter a look...I was really impressed with him preseason as a rebounder and somebody who can score inside...</div>

He might be overseas, but players usually have an option to leave if an NBA team is seeking their services. Or they just buyout the remainder of their deal.

I agree on Wesley, I think once Dec. 15th approaches, we'll start seeing some player movement in the NBA. I'm curious to see if the Rockets will be aggressive or sit back and wait to see what other Western Conf. teams do first. They obviously have glaring needs, and with Head developing, Wesley is expendable.

I also think Howard still has some value, especially for a team trying to add one more big man for the post season. Unfortunately, the Rockets are thin upfront, and they won't get equal value for Howard.

My question is should the Rockets looks to move Wesley or Howard even if they go on a considerable win streak this month (which, given the easier schedule, looks quite possible). I don't think we should pull any trades unless it's a CLEAR benefit to the team.

^^ given the chance to offload howard i would i dont like his salary and hes not good defensively and swift should get some more minutes but he could end up fouling out... wesley no problem we have enough guards anyways especially when rafer and sura come back... I have high hopes for this team if they keep yao, Tmac, Swift and head; anyone else in my book is expendable.

If the Rockets come back from this road trip with something like a 5-1 record, then I think we should stay put. Unless we see a deal which would evidently benefit us, we shouldn't look to trade anyone, especially if we're playing well.

Still waiting for these "big changes". It seems like it was just overhyped because I haven't heard of any trade rumors at all.

^^ They are not going to make any trades until atleast the Dec. 15th free-agent deadline. More players will be available and we can trade some of ours.

I think the article was to scare the underperforming scrubs to get their act together. If they start fitting well, there won't be any moves

Is there any reason the Rockets haven't pursued Glenn Robinson? I thought he played pretty well last year for the Spurs. He was a suprisingly effective defensive player, and of course he's a very good scorer.

With all this talk about us picking up Sprewell, it seems like Glenn Robinson would be a far better choice. He's a far better player, in my view, and he's younger.

Glen Robionson's a FA? I agree, the big dawg anytime over Latrell's selfish ass.
