<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Houston:</div><div class="quote_post">our problem isnt who would start, because its pretty certain that Sura would be the starter if healthy...however, since thats not the case, that leaves James, Moochie and Ward at the PG...Moochie and Ward wont be of any significance...meaning it leaves James...so we need atleast one more PG...hence, Jay Williams, who is the most attractive free agent PG out there right now...James isnt reliable or stable enough to be relied upon for 36-40 minutes a night at PG...hes more reliable at 20-25 minutes...therefore, that would leave possibly 10 minutes for TMac or DA to play some spot PG, and 10 minutes for J-Will to give us at PG, more or less...</div>
Weren't you the one who said Head had destroyed Williams during the tryout? In that case, I don't see why we should sign him. Williams impressed during his rookie season because of his ability to attack the rim and his quick hands to steal the ball. Now, he's lost most of his explosiveness due to the injuries. Without those attributes, Williams is average at best. He's not a true point guard, but he isn't a great shooter as well. He definitely won't help us more than Head, whom we already have on the team. If Head did indeed outperform Williams, why would we even need Williams to play those 10 minutes when Head could likely do just as well?
