Smush is an idiot, he waits forever to foul. He did walk, wow...very tick tack violation to call, I hate when refs take the game away from the players and don't let them decide the outcome.
DAMMIT!!!! Kobe called for traveling and Odom just fouled out. This game is dwindling southward for the Lakers all the sudden.
****! kobe you bloody doofus how does this happen! i really cant fathom the idea of kobe losing the game for us, i can understand odom, or parker or anyone, but kobe! man 53 points for nothing
Kobe, the greatest player in the game today, makes a crucial mistake. How ironic. Maybe he's been hanging out with Smush and Lamar too much.
That's game, the referee made a good call on the travel, but in a situation like that I think he should of let it go.
I'm speechless. I can't believe the Lakers lost. I was sure they had the game one after entering overtime with so much momentum. Regardless, Kobe is still the best player in the NBA and nobody else can score like him. 53 points is still incredible.

I know they allow contact more than usual so they let the game be played away. But you're not going to let a travel go. And by the replays, the official was correct.
Ugh, I am being serious. How often will you see that call made with the time winding down? I'd venture to say about 98% of the time, that call isn't made. Go back and watch the Warriors/Suns game from the other night and count all of the uncalled traveling violations. It's just a joke, I think in the winding seconds of a game refs should let players decide the outcome, not themselves. I'd say this for any player, any team...not just Kobe and the Lakers.
Tough break with that traveling call. The Rockets got the benefit of the whistle at the end of both of their wins in LA. That's a call the league has been making more often this season, though. The Rockets were sending a double team at Kobe in an attempt to either force a turnover or just get the ball out of his hands. That was the purpose. It wouldn't be fair for the refs to ignore a violation in that instance.
I think the play RIGHT before fouling T-Mac is what pissed Kobe off. I think he was looking for a moving screen on Yao, and Kobe is right Yao was still moving into position when Kobe hit that screen. Whatever it was a great game to watch. Excited for the playoffs now lol

Don't see any reason for that travelling violation not to be called. Regardless that was one hell of a game. Very nice ending and it was awesome to see Kobe bring his team back like that. Proved once again why he's the best guard in the league.
