Watching the replay several times, Kobe was caught trailing and he tried to squeeze between Yao and Tracy to contest the shot. I thought Yao got set just before Kobe ran into him, but according to the rules you have to give the defender enough time to get out of the way. I don't know if that was Kobe initiating the contact, or Yao. Strictly speaking, you might be right. But I honestly never see that get called. Ok, I think an offensive foul or no call would be justified here. But if the contact is deemed a no call, does that give Kobe license to ricochet off Yao and bump into the shooter? Because it certainly looked like Kobe flopped to accentuate the contact.</div> If the officials judged it as a no call then, Kobe bumping into TMac should have been ruled incidental. I agree you normally don't see it called, but earlier in the game the officials called Turiaf for the exact same movement once he delivered the pass. He took a step and stuck his hip out to get a piece of the defender. It's just another example of inconsistent officiating.
CAN WE JUST END THIS? the loss was a loss, you can only blame those two situations for the lakers loss.. Everybody on the lakers was playing bad except kobe and he had a bad strech.. Just let it go, it happend and now it cannot be changed, its hard to tell but dont argue about others opinions
