I thought the same damn thing. At the same time the Bulls cash in their chips and give away Deng, the White Sox go in hard on the Tanaka bidding. The same thing happened when they sold Korver a couple of years ago. Within 24 hours the White Sox had picked up some shitty player. I feel like I know better though. How could the two possibly be connected? Reinsdorf owns a small portion of both teams IIRC.
