These Yankees have many labels, but one remains constant.........inconsistent.
And that run differential between runs scored and runs against at -23
just does not get lower........thanks to terrible hitting and lackluster
    pitching.

Maybe tomorrow .........Oh, who am I kidding!

This evening, Bump Texeira went 0 for 3 at Scranton. I'd say he's ready to
    join the big club. :iamsmiling:

    One question:
After Hal dumps TrashmanTrashcan and sells team, does Girardi have a lifetime job as Yankee manager?

Baltimore is 10 games over .500, Boston is 8 and Toronto is 5.
Neither one is going to be confused with being a powerhouse any time soon and this Yankee team looks lifeless, and I'm not talking about their BATTING AVERAGES.

I watch other "poorly constructed" bad teams play with much more fire intensity and cohesiveness than this group- they're a reflection of their manager.
My guess- his personality creates a tense nervous atmosphere, weak leadership qualities when things don't look "good", a poor in-game manager, and is absolutely overrated as a handler of "bullpens".

Yep, he can win when he has a few guys mashing a few HRs with a very good hitting team along with Andy Pettitte and vintage CC.
And so can you and I! lol

He still needed an all time great WS performance from Matsui to close the deal.

Yep, "all" managers need good players - but unles he does have a few good players, he actually harms the team's chances- imho

...Considering how terrible he was before the injury, the return of Tex may not be a good thing...and as far as Hal saying the key was for the Yanx to remain healthy, the team might actually be better off if some others were on the DL.
