I know it's just an example but the Cavs won't have the cap space to pull off that trade so that's a dead end. I'd love to trade ET instead but it's a lot more difficult. I'm going to continue to hold out hope that we can trade our expirings for someone useful even though the market will be flooded.
I have to say I have really liked his play, for the most part, this year. I'm sure his stats aren't that much better than our past forwards, but it just seems like you can trust him to make good plays (most of the time), I really like him.
In a playoff game, down 1 with seconds to go, Dame gets trapped and is looking for someone to pass it to that can actually hit a shot......I trust Rodney. This was an underrated pickup.
He hasn't been a Blazer that long but already has a few really clutch 3's, last night was one, that shot in the 4th OT vs Denver was basically worth his entire contract. That was just straight beautiful.
This is quite interesting. We traded both ET and Meyers and took on some salary, but no years. And we did it without any firsts!
2 way, smart athletic player...upgrade all around...can see a mismatch and post up and at the same time make the unselfish extra pass.....Hoodie is a keeper in my book! The guy also took a paycut to sign here...what's not to like?
They bring different things to the team. Hood is a reliable scorer that we can put along the perimeter and he's going to hit shots. That's something we have been sorely missing with Aminu and Harkless. Baze is a defensive monster. He's a ball of energy. He disrupts offenses. He's great coming off the bench and giving us a spark. I really like both of them.
Now that i actually read it. He sure did. Hot Damn. I even quoted the statement. Even more so i was so entranced by the memory i couldn't even remember if it was the 3 or 4 OT's. WT actual F was i thinking here?
