I have the constitutional right to murder whomever i want. Because i can do whatever i want with my body, my choice. And i don't want to hear any women chiming in on this.....
Except that that is also affecting someone else's body. And no, it will not be seen as equivalent to abortion, because the unborn child is not considered to be a "person" in the eyes of the law (as was pointed out earlier in the thread, the 14th amendment specifically affords equal protection to those "born or naturalized" in the US, not those conceived but not yet born).
Funny how anti women try to pretend Ginsburg was on their side. Like racists pretending King was on their side. Saying quiet part out loud. Counter protester, white male, yelled at women "not your body, not your choice, your body belongs to me".
Clearly that's different. It's when OTHER people are addicted to getting the outcome they want.. btw, that's rich...considering women have been getting the short end of the stick for centuries, and if people didn't blow up at getting what they didn't want, Clarence Thomas wouldn't A: get to vote B: be free C: marry a white woman D: be a judge on the SCOTUS and E: own property
I have read Ruth Bader Ginsburg's book, in which she talks extensively about Roe, abortion, and women's rights generally.
Senate Dems Won't Protect Abortion Rights, But Vote Unanimously to Protect Justices From Protests "It's remarkable how quickly the Senate has acted to protect the privacy and safety of five justices," said one critic. "It's something senators are unwilling to do for millions of women." https://www.commondreams.org/news/2...ts-vote-unanimously-protect-justices-protests
Susan Collins Calls Cops Over Sidewalk Chalk Message Asking Her to Support Abortion Rights "Our thoughts are with Susan Collins, who called the police because there was chalk on the sidewalk near her house," one critic said mockingly. "We hope she is alright after enduring such a harrowing ordeal!" https://www.commondreams.org/news/2...alk-chalk-message-asking-her-support-abortion
Protesters wrote, “Susie, please, Mainers want WHPA —–> vote yes, clean up your mess” in chalk on the sidewalk outside Collins’ Bangor home, the Daily News reports based on a police report about the incident.
Seems pretty innocuous. It's a friendly note in chalk on a sidewalk. Better start a May 10th investigation and find these chalk-armed insurrectionists.
Remember, this same Supremacist court banned buffer zones outside clinics to protect patients from threats and abuse by anti woman groups. So a pregnant 12 year old has to be tough enough to have grown men scream in her face that she is a whore and murderer who will burn in eternal hell but middle aged cushy justices can't handle peaceful protest.
Yes, which doesn't mean i need to be on favor of it. And no there were no forced injections. It was a 5 dollar fine.
