<div class="quote_poster">Quoting shapecity:</div><div class="quote_post">ESPN last night said the Knicks backed out of this deal because Larry Brown didn't want to coach Jalen Rose again. He coached him in Indiana, and they had a rocky relationship there. I'm not sure what other offers the Raptors will get for Rose.</div> There's a story out of Chicago that Tim Thomas is refusing to play for the Bulls again. Contractually, that type of deal makes sense based on contract value alone, but TT's deal is done at the end of this season and for a year he seems to have more upside than Rose right now. Chicago was desperate to get done with Jalen a couple of years ago, so I don't know that they'd want him back -- he doesn't seem to fit with their current roster and can you imagine him fitting with Scott Skiles, beyond just personality but also being former and heated competitors at Michigan and Michigan State? I don't see any type of deal being made for Jalen, especially the way he's playing right now. The last time the wheels fell off the apple cart that dramatically for a Barney it was Wince Carter laying down on the job. You wonder if this is a similar pretense Have fun..............
Their's no team that has anything we want [expiring contract] that will want Rose. He has bad history with either the coach or team in general of the top 2 candidates.
