that's not counting Graves, Poink or Bereglazov. Doesn't add up. I would have to think Gorton has deals in place for at least 2 out of these 3. Staal, Klein or Holden. If Klein is going to retire than fucking do it already dude.

Klein is retiring, so don't count him or his 2.9 mill cap hit. I saw some comments on it yesterday. He'll be out.

So 7 dmen if you count DeAngelo as the 7th. My biggest fear is AV doesn't get Staal and Holden cannot play anything more than 3rd pair minutes if here, and both need to be given games off in favor of DeAngelo and/or Graves.

I bet DeAngelo is getting moved as part of a package for a C

I think Holden will either be dealt for a pick/prospect or Hartford/waivers.

I have this awful feeling Gorton will turn into a moron and trade Graves which would be a colossal mistake.

I think Holden gets dealt soon. Then we have about 6 mill left after Klein retires and we sign Ziban and Fast. Then we make a move for a forward and have cap space to do it.

If Gorton trades Graves, it will be official that he is as clueless as any other GM in this league!

If he does we'll have to see who comes back first before we kill him. Remember AV doesn't like physical players who don't play nice

I don't know who is more clueless on HF. The anti Rangers morons who say Graves couldn't bring back a 3rd line center. Or the dumbass Rangers fans trying to give him away for a third line center. Only real hope I have of Gorton not trading Graves is because Staal if he can't be dealt will be bought out, McDonagh is probably getting traded next season. He's going to want a Vlasic deal and he will not get it from this team. They can't afford him and they are loaded on the left side with Skjei, Graves, Day and Bereglazov.

Maybe someone like Matthias or Letestu could be had without giving up too much. Then next year use Staal and Nashs money on a better C.
