    Welcome, and please post, I believe your English is far superior to the average American poster.

    Tonight's game may be the most important of the year. This is a momentum changer. I think the X factor in this matchup is Stotts. Good teams compete, great teams defeat. Really looking forward to this one.

    I'll just say this: Batum and RoLo got lots of pick and rolo reps in the last few games of the season, especially against the Clippers. There's a lot of Stotts plays we haven't seen in the playoffs yet.

    Really? Hyperbole, much? We can trot out our 3rd-stringers tonight and go home 1-1. Games 3 and 4 are much more important (for us) than Game 2.
    Now if we WIN tonight, then it could be one of the most important games of the year. But a loss tonight hardly decides the series.

    If you get NBA League Pass, you can watch it whenever you want. They are archiving all the games. Pretty cooL.

    I get what riverman means and I don't think it's hyperbole. You put a team down 2-0 in a 7 game series, with both losses being on their home court, then the series is essentially over. A loss tonight still leaves the Blazers with home court advantage, but it throws all of the pressure on them not to slip up in the next two games. Houston is very capable of beating the Blazers one game in Portland.

    About 8 or 9 years ago, Houston (led by a fantastic McGrady) won games 1 & 2 in Dallas but still ended up losing the series in 7. So I wouldn't call it essentially over.

    Ha! They also featured a picture of Howard traveling while falling down, and Lopez no where close to him, that the refs called a foul on Lopez. They aren't helping the Houston conspiracy "refs stole the game from us" theory. They really are stupid.

    Absolutely. But to call this the most important game of the season is dumb. No team goes on the road thinking they HAVE to win BOTH. You hear it every year - you try to steal one on the road. Of course you try to win EVERY game, but the realistic goal is to steal one road game. Winning games 3 and 4 is FAR more important than losing game 2. As I said - IF we win tonight, it's huge but if we lose tonight it's to be expected.

    OK, I just bet someone at work. They were so certain the Rockets would win tonight they offered me 2 to 1, so I bet $20 against $40. I tried to bet $50, but they wouldn't bite.

    From ESPN: Portland point guard Damian Lillard sees Game 2 as a swing game.

    "You can look at it both ways," Lillard said. "We got one game on the road, which we set out to do. Or you could say we missed the opportunity to steal two games. We know it'll be tough, but we want to be greedy about the situation. We understand that we could have played better in Game 1, and we want to come out and be our best in Game 2 and get another win."

    That's right mofos. Get greedy.

    Just don't get blown out

    That would give Houston a big mental edge going forward, feeling like they gave away game 1 and then winning game 2 convincingly

    It needs to be a close game

    Fuck that, this is too tough of a team to worry about being blown out. Dame, LMA and others WILL show up tonight. I have no doubt. Will that result in a win? Hopefully. I think so. But they aren't going to lay down, I'm sure of that. Honestly, I expect the Blazers to be up 2-0 after tonight.

    So anyone calling the Bench Point Production for tonight? We got what...6 points in game 1 from em?

    Good Mo - Gets 8 points
    Bad Mo - Gives up 2 turnovers for 4 points
    ============

    T-Rob - Gets 6 points
    D-Rob - Makes 1 block
    ============

    Joel - Gets 4 points
    Joel - Gets 6 defensive boards
    ============

    so...18 points off the bench...is it enough to win game 2?
