I miss Kwame Brown for his interior defense and rebounding.</div> What's frustrating is the ticky tack calls are only going against the Lakers. Utah has been pounding are players in the series and not getting called. Kobe tried to force his offense in OT and was getting frustrated with the defense AK47 was playing on him. He broke his discipline and went away from running the Triangle and finding the open man. Lakers could have won both games in Utah, but the team isn't doing what's necessary to win road games. Having a high amount of turnovers in Game 3 and today leaving all those points at the free throw line. If you're going to win on the road you need to protect the basketball and make your free throws. Turiaf's ejection was complete bullshit. Price landed awkward because he's a small guy going full speed running into a player who probably out weighs him by close to 100lbs. Puke Walton is an absolute disaster in this series along with Jordan Farmar. Neither of these guys are producing for us and Farmar is killing us on the defensive end.

I tell me one thing, if u see that u can not make a jumper dont u pass the ball 2 someone else instead trying do this 4 times in a row. This loss is kobe“s fault coz he was just way to selfish in OT.hope that hhis injury aint to bad

Late in the game, you need players who can create. If Kobe was 100% today, no question in my mind, the Lakers would be heading into LA with a 3-1 lead. I swear next year, the Lakers better not think of adding another shooter/offensive minded player to the team. WE NEED REBOUNDERS. As good as a coach PJax is, I don't understand how he can play Puke Walton and leave Ira Newble on the bench. Game 5 is going to be a tough game, and honestly, I won't be surprised if Utah pulls of the W UNLESS DFish, Pau, Odom, and Kobe ALL play a great game. If we win big Game 5, I think we will win Game 6 as well.
Let me add something else Ill, Luke didn't prove anything after you posted about his little run, aside from a Blowout game against the Clips (one of the biggest of the year). He played well against the Nuggets, four games and at an inflated pace with some garbage time in the fourth. Now he's nothing special again, kind of bad in fact. He fell off as well.
I wish they would just play Sasha as Fish's backup . .. I'm not a big believer in +/- stats, but it's interesting to note that Farmar is a Lakers worst -40 while he is on the floor .. -40 !!!!

Deron Williams gets going right away and the Jazz build a lead and their confidence. Lakers have played from behind the entire in Utah, which is tough to deal with on the road. I'm not sure if Sasha is the solution because he's played great backing up Kobe the entire season. Sasha isn't exactly stopping anyone either and I think Deron would have his way with him too. Sasha struggles when he has to handle the ball a lot and facilitate on offense. Case in point that one player in OT when he came flying along the baseline and passed it back out to nobody. He's at his best when he just spot up and drill the money ball. The bottomline is Fisher needs to stay out of early foul trouble to keep Farmar on the bench. Ever since the Lakers traded JCritt, we've all seen a drop in Farmar's game. He doesn't have anyone to push him for his minutes.

Kobe declined in the fourth, and was terrible in OT, I don't have to mention every detail.
Kobe's shot selection was terrible down the stretch of the game and in OT. I don't mind him taking those shots if he's in the zone, but trying to shoot himself back in the flow at that juncture of the game was uncalled for. Fisher had the hot hand and Odom was also hitting big shots. Another play I hate is the high pick and roll Kobe and Gasol try to run. It doesn't create any space on the floor and Gasol is too far out of the post to do damage and draw fouls. In the 1st two games the Lakers did a better job of posting Pau deep in the paint to force Boozer into fouling and watching from the sidelines.
No need to worry, you guys will still win in 6. You should be worried about the next opponent though, whether its the Hornets or the Spurs.

Lakers had a chance to win both games in Utah and couldn't manage to finish strong to take a game and keep all the pressure on Utah. Now the Lakers find themselves in a must-win situation.
How badly was Kobe injured? On Yahoo, it says Kobe could barely walk off the court (of course Utah fans were probably cheering their asses off) after the game. Our next game is on Tuesday, right? If Kobe can't get himself healthy, then we're in some serious trouble
