    I dont get it, when in that game did Artest start shit talking? Kobe clearly play after play taunted and said random shit to Battier, althought Battier ignored it all times, until Kobe finally got t'd up.

    The question is will Kobe score 40 points in each of the next 4-5 games?

    Deke is a big guy and not as coordinated. I don't think he is trying to elbow Shaq or whoever it may be.

    Kobe does these "unnatural basketball movements" a lot, an he has the personality that he is willing to be dirty to cause other players to get frustrated (for the Battier types) or overreact (Artest types).

    Artest didn't intend to fight like someone of you here are implementing. Like Barkley said, he ran up to Kobe to let him know that he isn't going to take his shit anymore and that Kobe should play fair. He also said there were a few occasions in the game earlier when Kobe slapped his hand away. I agree he deserved a technical foul, but an ejection? Again Artest didn't go up to Kobe to shove him or push him, he just got in his face and let him know how he felt.

    Artest's past is going to continue to haunt him as long as he is a loose cannon.

    The refs missed a call on Kobe, but it isn't Artest's business to handle it.

    Well whatever happened happened. If Artest gets suspended SOMEHOW, I am going to fuck up Stu Jackson. I predict Fisher gets suspended for 1 Game and that's all that happens. Look for Game 3 to be physical from the start. But if they call these chippy fouls from the start, it could get boring.

    Beats me. Ron got ejected, that's more than enough considering he didn't try to hurt anybody.

    Derek should be suspended, which could be a good thing for us anyways. Only downside I see is maybe more minutes for Jordan...

    Farmar didn't look horrible tonight. His speed is actually making a difference.

    Where is pakman to talk up Scola? His box score was very unimpressive.

    You can't seriously be comparing purposely elbowing a player to get to a loose ball, and securing a rebound with your elbows out. One is a legit basketball maneuver, and the other one isn't.

    And if you think your stat sheet speaks for everything, you need to watch the game more carefully instead of posting here every second. If you have DVR and recorded the game, watch the ownage on Odom.

    I thought Scola played like crap in that third quarter. Against most teams he's very consistent, but against teams with unusual length and athleticism like the Lakers he can struggle. I'm surprised he played as well as he did against the Blazers.
