    Uruguay sat back and allowed South Korea to attack for most of the match once they went up 1-0. They must have figured that this will be a cakewalk and to rest their legs for the quarter finals as best they can. It didn't turn out that way. However, Uruguay shown that once the odds are even they can manage to get it done anyway without much hassle. With Suarez finding his scoring touch, he should be a top candidate for golden boot.

    It's going to be tough now against the young athletic Ghana team. They would have had a better chance vs. USA.

    Uruguay are superior to Ghana at every position. Ghana's hopes rely on the African supporters ... and that Uruguay sit back for an entire 90 minutes.

    I agree that Uruguay have more talent but can they sustain the attack form Ghana? (like you said for 90 minutes)

    S. Korea had a chance to tie that game and send it to extra periods and possibly penalties.
