Its raining so bad the fans have left their seats and walked up under cover. Stadium starting to look empty.

Not sure how Korea didn't score there.

Nice game. I love that as soon as Uruguay started to sit back they got punished. Hopefully every team takes notice. Stay on the attack!

Lol, hope they do same thing vs. USA, score one and sit back, we'll beat them like that.

Great match though, good way to start round of 16. I want to see penalties soonnnn.

I'm sure Uruguay was just trying to save some energy for their next match, no point in picking up an injury when the game is pretty much over.

Uruguay sat back and allowed South Korea to attack for most of the match once they went up 1-0. They must have figured that this will be a cakewalk and to rest their legs for the quarter finals as best they can. It didn't turn out that way. However, Uruguay shown that once the odds are even they can manage to get it done anyway without much hassle. With Suarez finding his scoring touch, he should be a top candidate for golden boot.

It's going to be tough now against the young athletic Ghana team. They would have had a better chance vs. USA.

Uruguay are superior to Ghana at every position. Ghana's hopes rely on the African supporters ... and that Uruguay sit back for an entire 90 minutes.

I agree that Uruguay have more talent but can they sustain the attack form Ghana? (like you said for 90 minutes)

    S. Korea had a chance to tie that game and send it to extra periods and possibly penalties.
