    How would you feel if the entire Blazer team stood in the tunnel during the national anthem while the other team was lined up on the court? Would this be unacceptable to you, or just a simple act of "freedom"?

    what if it was for religious reasons that he didnt do it? then would it be a problem. Also I could remember wrong... but I thought I heard or read somewhere that Sabas didnt stand for the national anthem.

    Gee, I don't know. Come to think of it, sitting on the bench when you're taking a breather is also kind of "odd." Maybe Roy should be allowed to go to the tunnel when he's out of the game, just so he can be alone. And flying with the rest of the team on Blazer One is also kind of an "odd practice." Why don't we just let Roy fly his own plane to the games??

    Why do we have to treat people as outcasts that don't conform to your moral guidelines?

    This is America, people have freedoms here, and in that, it doesn't require anyone to be required to stand on the basketball court during the over-hyped "national anthem".

    Roy is no more a bad guy in this situation than you are.

    So your problem with Roy being in the tunnel during the national anthem is a matter of team unity? Really?

    So, then, you'd have no problem with the entire team being in the tunnel during the national anthem, I gather. They'd all be together, no Roy going off doing his own thing.

    "I love this country, and the anthem means so much to me, but instead of harping on what, you believe, is a fault or distraction from Roy, maybe write something positive about his positive influence he has to fans, children and his team mates. Do you honestly think that Roy dislikes this country? Do you really believe that he's trying to make a statement? Do you think Roy would still be doing this if he knew that he was being a distraction?

    The main reason why I have problems with your columns is during positive times regarding the Blazers, you fish and fish for something negative to write. For me, that's no better than being a Rush, Stern or even Cowherd. You want to be the one everyone hates, because it forces people to read your filth. I think that's cowardly.
