Do you really think that Roy is self-serving enough that he will absolutely insist on the max? Do you really think Roy will have to take out a summer job if his extension starts at 11-12 million instead of 14? Do you really think that if it comes down to the extension deadline, KP won't give Roy what is necessary to extend him? Do you really have this little faith in Blazer players and/or management? I'm guessing (sadly) that the answer to all those questions is yes.
